The project strengthens child protection systems against Online Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (OCSEA) by equipping communities with knowledge, tools, and safe reporting mechanisms. PDF worked with schools, families, government structures, and community platforms to raise awareness and promote responsible digital behavior.
Children, teachers, parents, Ward Gender and Children’s Protection Committee members, and Social Welfare Officers participated in trainings that focused on recognizing online risks, reporting abuse, and practicing safe internet use. Local authorities and protection committees were engaged to strengthen coordination and case referrals at ward and district levels.
Awareness efforts were amplified through community dialogues, school-based activities, and the use of approved educational materials to ensure consistent messaging. Collaboration with government stakeholders positioned the project within national child protection priorities, supporting long-term sustainability beyond implementation.
